How do you drive it when it's gone out of site. Do you have screen to watch?
I can see a who heap of good uses, but some bad annoying ones as well.
My current setup gives me a radio range of up to at least 20klm, however my limitations are with the batteries. I get around 10min flights so in that time, I could only push it out to about 3-4klm out before I would have to turn around and head back. I have not gone out this far yet but intend to start working towards this over the next few months.

As for how to see it when it goes out of sight, I have a small CCD camera on the front and this signal is transmitted back to me. I have a set of 'goggles' with LCD screens in them. When I put these on, I can see exactly where I am and what I am flying towards/over/around, etc. It is a strange feeling.

Hope this helps to answer your question.
