I just thought that I would say how great it is to see the amount of traffic on this website in recent months.

Each time I log on (most day's), it is great to see anything up to 80 (or more) members + visitors on line, scrolling through the different threads.

This is obviously testament to the awesome amount of information contained throughout the various threads from some very passionate members (Cape York tragics :) ). I would encourage some of the "visitors" to sign up & get involved in the discussions !!

Well done Anthony for your vision & ongoing support in keeping this worthwhile website going.

Nice post. It is great to see so many people online and I do receive quite a few requests from new members who want to join the "croc crew".
As for the foresight in getting the forum up and running, that credit goes to Batesy. Funny when I look back to the very early days of this forum. I used to be sitting in my house in Cairns talking to Batesy (who was in Weipa at that time) on the phone. We would be madly putting up info and I used to say to him "Is this thing really going to work. Every time I log in all I see is you and I. How is this going to be worthwhile?"

Full credit goes to each and every one of you who post on this forum and the forum is well and truly at a stage now where it holds it own. I may be biased but I really think there is no other forum that comes close to this one when it comes to info on Cape York.

Another bonus with this forum is that it is totally free and with the registration process, it is pretty darn hard for a hacker to get access so we are 100% free of spam.

Anyway, for all reading this, enjoy wandering through the pages, threads, etc and most importantly, enjoy your time in Cape York.

Hi Ant.
I came acrss to this site when Batesy sent me a PM on antoher forum.
I had just come back from our first Cape Trip and Batesy wanted a few photos and a story for Capeyorker Mag. I havent been to the Cape since 2007 but regularly on here looking in. Its a great site and full of valuable information.
To show ou how popular the Cape is, I started a thread in a 4wd monthy forum called Cape York Be Prepared in 2005 and its still going. 151,094 views and 1864 replies. Just goes to show how popular the Cape is.
