Heading to Cape in July - not been before but have picked up lots of information from fellow forumites! What permits (if any) are required to do the trip? Will keep a look out also for weather and water crossings - son reckons the more water the better - not so sure about that! Any other hints and tips will be great.

depend on were you're going maybe start with a trip itenerary and I will see if I can help cheers sam
I will jump on this thread and get some info.
Not excactly what order we are doing things but these are places we are definetly going to. If you can also include were to get the permits , how and who (including Ph numbers if you have them handy)
Lakefield NP
Weipa (caravan park)
pennyfeather
marpoon
Anything along OTL
Virylia Pt
Jardine river
punsand bay
seisa
chilli beach
captain billy landing
and if we still have time go to frechman track into iron range NP
Any info on these places would be much appreciated

Those four workshops cover from lakeland to the tip if you have any worries don't hesitate to ring them the only people I don't know personally is the people at coen the rest are A grade people with proffesional business's.
