hi I'm just chasing the names/numbers of any off the contactors that will be working on the roads up that way time for a job change and what better place to work

Perhaps you could contact Cook Shire, as I would guess that they would manage the majority of contracts, given all the recent kerfuffle (?) about not operning tracks this year.

They should be able to point you in the right direction.

1) Rob Roy earthmoving
2) Bowyers transport
3) Cook Shire (the boys can give you a list of contracters working on the road)
4) Bramwell station
5) Wolverton (mostly earthmoving work driving)
6) CEC construction are doing a bit up this way

try them should jag you a job with one of them....

thanks for the tip kingchevy I got a call back and start after easter driving from einasleigh river to bris. for a bloke up cooktown way will see how that pans out on a side note I sent a email to cook s.c. re contarctor contact's on monday still waiting might not be keen on giving out the info ? thanks for the help mate:cool:
