Reef or River fishing in June

Hi everyone,

We've decided to stay at Loyalty Beach in June and wondered weather we should do a Reef Charter or River Charter.

I would love to catch a Barra, but I understand they're pretty slow mid year.

How do the reef species go in the colder months.

Geoff The barra are still there and they have to eat, yes they slow down its a matter of finding warm water , fish the flates in the warmer part of the day this time of year i find live baiting is more productive .
If lure fishing it pays to flog the snags to death some times it takes time to wake them up
