I know everyone has heard of them were on the cape has anyone seen them? I'm sure I spotted one of these elusive buggers at stone's crossing anyone else?

Stones Crossing. What a place. I remember camping there years ago, got lost trying to find the place and then that night had to drink about 30 beers to knock myself out. Lots of strange noises through the night. Dont know if it was the DROP BEAR or a big croc

Thanks for the heads up Kingchevy, I'll keep an eye out for them when I get up there.
Will certainly let you know when and where I see them.

If you look closely in this photo in the top right corner there is a flash of a drop bear this is near gunshot.

I never realised you could catch them in a photo.
