Communications

Any info on communications in the remote areas of the cape would be greatly appreciated, e.g is a uhf radio of much use? and are there many repeater stations? Hope this topic hasn't already been covered but did a search and couldn't find anything.

Theres not much up the cape sat phones are a good uhf radios are handy for close comunications but other than that a hf radio is a good thing to have.

Thanks Kingchevy, that's about what I thought. There will be three vehicles travelling together so we would should be able to keep out of trouble. Although one of them is a Nissan but with two Toyotas we should be pretty safe.;)

Yep your lucky youve got a nissan to get you out of trouble. Mate dont take a next generation phone, might has well have 2 cans and a bit of string.

You should have no worries at all, A nissan will easily keep up snatching 2 toyota. You should be preety safe
