Converstation I had with a friend two days ago...
"How long you up for, Dave?" I asked
"A few days then we head up to the tip."
"You driving that ute?"
"Yeah, got the tinny too." he said. "Went out fishing yesterday."
"How'd you go?"
"Got thirty barra..." he said.
And no Ant, he didn't kill them all. So don't even think about chucking a wobbly! :)
How awsome is that.
All i want is to catch a big one take a photo and realise it as i prefer eating reef fish over barra but its one of a few that I would love to catch. Plus i will get an ear full from Ant if i kept it.
Whats the chances of them being around in 5 weeks time. Batesy since you haven't got much to do can you find that out
Thanks you're a chimp i mean Champ..

The barra were caught when the boys went out in the boat near Weipa... I never ever ask where people go ... saves them having to lie...!
As for the falls ... Campdog, you know too much by the sound of it.
I guess the best way to go about this is to let you guys call the station owners themselves.
Their number is 1800 PAT ROL ... just leave a message if it diverts to the nearest RACQ tow truck operator.

Yeah...the best place is...turn left at Lakeland and follow the DIP signs and once you have gone past around 500 of them, your there....
500 you say.
So do i turn on the 500th one or after the 500th.
Thanks you are such a nice man to let the details go of such a good fishing spot. I don't know why a nice bloke like you broke his ankle fishing. especially after giving away all the good fishing spots.
Hope fully i can find this special spot. Your are a champion, a real superstar.
Thanks
