how big would you go ? was ofered a 3.7 mtr boat would this be to big as a car toper or be better of makin a trailer to carry it and a couple of small motor bike's

First of all, find out what your 4wd's roof is rated for. This will determin the size and weight of your tinny. For example, i have a 3.8mt Savage car topper that weighs less than 80kg. The same size in another brand can be a lot heavier.

My cruiser's roof is rated to 100kg. The rhinorack rear boat loader weighs just under 20kg and the boat about almost 80kg.
