Can anyone tell me anything on a place called "The Farm?" It was a decent track marked on our GPS that lead us there, thinking we could cross the Pascoe river (I think we were on our way back from Chili beach) by taking this shortcut.
The further we drove down the track the more hollowed out car bodies lay before us. Thoughts anyone?

I cant remember exactly but i think Wendy from Bramwell mentioned something about an old guy there who was a farmer had lots of old car wrecks on his property. Private property too i think. Thats about it though. Oh, she also said that they used to grow a bit of dope around the area too. Stacky would know more.

Yes, an man in his 50s came out to us and said they called the place "the farm" and that we couldn't pass the Pascoe river there, simply because the drop was impassible. Apparently the rangers tell drivers that is is a shortcut. The car bodies worried us.

All the car bodies are probably from the cars that have attempted the crossing over the years. :)
Good if your after spare parts. I do know that he will help you out if you get stuck. He's not going to point a gun in your face or anything. :)
Wouldn't be Fyfes' place would it Geoff? They were the only ones with a property on that side on the Pascoe when I was up there last. In think they used to call their place "The Farm".
The only other road leading to a crossing on the Pascoe from the Chilli Beach area, [apart from the one off the Frenchmans' road] was the one crossing to Wattle Hill, which is also private property.
Cheers,
xina.
