G'day All,
Stumbled across your site while doing some planning for our upcoming trip later this year.
It's a good idea and I am surprised no-one has thought of setting up a subject specific site like this before.
Let's face it, the Cape is one place that is always on every 4WD'ers agenda.
I certainly hope to gain some valuable info from this site.

Hi Riley,
Take it easy on the roads to the tip, use your headlights once off the bitumen. How far are you going and what timeframe do you have?

Hi Riley,
Lakefield will be good for the barra, as will Weipa. If you have the time while in Weipa it is really best to hook up with a guide so you can get the most of the time there. If you need any help with guides then let me know as I know them all.

You really have a short time frame and will definitely be busy getting around. The one thing with the Cape is that there is so much to see and do. I guess that means more reason to go back up again hey!
