Hi Everyone
I just joined this site and planning my first trip to the Cape later this year and hope to get some good information from all out there and meet some great people.
Here are a couple of pictures on my vehicles. I am lucky enough to have 2 thoroughbreds (Toyota & Nissan) so I have a foot on both sides the fence although I mainly use the 100 series for taking the grandkids camping, towing the boat and the Nissan for the tough and out of the way stuff.
Mainly treked in NSW, Victorian High Country & Tassie in last 10 years due to living in NSW although I am a QLD'er and wanting to get back there.
Travelled for 16 weeeks in boat up east coast and to PNG & Solomon Islands in 1989 and really want to do about 12 weeks north of Cairns and visit Portland Roads and Escape River.
We are fully self sufficient in the Nissan and want to give it a run in God's Country soon.
Regards John

The forum looks like a great place with plenty of great characters and heaps of information.
Thanks for the comments on the rig. I have 2 projects on the go at the moment, a new camper top for the truck and a pretty serious tandem off road camper / caravan. Both are taking up so much time and money.
Regards John
