Thought it would be good to see how others set camp, whether it be overnight or longer. As most do the Cape as a touring holiday, it is generally the tend to travel light.
I am fortunate with the truck I recently bought , pretty much set up by the previous owner (Telstra) so not a lot for me to do, plus there is PLENTY of room.

We are fairly comfortable, plus the big 110 Waeco keeps the necessities nice and cold.
How do you guys camp?
Damn, can only post 4 images, so I have had to delete smiley faces etc.
Imagine smileys at the appropriate places as you read.

They look great those ex-telstra utes. I see a few of them around town. Excellent tray enclosure.
Also... 110L fridge! Do you flog it from the kitchen before you leave? I thought 60L was pretty big. Don't tell me ... you fill it with fish, right?
Nice camp set-up by the way. I'll post mine when I have my other computer up and running. Nothing fancy ... in fact I've seen homeless people camping in more comfort. Which is probably good training for me, since the better half will make me live that way if I don't improve the set-up.

I got one of these things coming in a couple of weeks. I dont mind tents, but it's all the other stuff she wants to take. At least with a trailer it's all in....

Camp looks good, I'd up date the Toyota, maybe a NIssan.

Smarta@$e...
Maybe I should trade in the cruiser and update to a camper like burdekinbarra's ...
The better half can pull it ... she's always nagging ... so I figure she must be a horse!
(If you read this, babe, I'm only joking ... well, horsing around actually!) :)

Personally I don't see to much wrong with this setup, besides the obvious choice of vehicle that is.
Best way to camp on hot nights, though as can be seen from my earlier pics we have definately upgraded.

Yeah i agree about the upgrade Batesy. You really need it. If I was you I would go into town 2morrow and do and instant upgrade into a Nissan.
I Like the tent setup no lack of fresh air....

I guess I can always camp in the Nissans that are bogged, drowned or rusting on the side of the road!
