Life in the Cape York Rainforest

Just got a new copy of "Life in the Cape York Rainforest" from CSIRO Publishing and have to say that it is one of the best books I have seen on the Cape when it comes to layout and images. It is a soft cover book with 104 pages and any collector of books on the Cape would be mad not to add this one to their list.
It was released in November this year and should retail for $39.95

I just had a look at the Sample Pages on the CSIRO Publishing site Ant. Looks like it's a good one. I liked what I saw. [ You get a 13 page sample of the content.] Looked to me like the first 13 pages.

Thanks for the heads up on the sample pages Xina.

Might have to splurge and get some of these new publications on The Cape.

Unfortunately, it just makes the ache to return again worse. I'm still looking at whether we can fit in some or all of next years tag-a-long trip.

I know what you mean only too well about the ache Scorcher. Still, it's good to have books like these to let us "go" there whenever we feel like it.

We did our 10th trip to Cape York this year, and had pencilled in 2010 for the next trip.

Next year was going to be Tasmania, but still looking at options....

I'll keep working on the idea though.
