Yesterday was the last day the Bamaga Museum and Information Centre is open this year. It will re-open mid May 2009. As i will be out and about a bit over the next several months, anyone chasing info can leave a message on my mobile 0402530667 and i will get back to you or ring the Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council on (07) 4069 3121.

As of April, the Bamaga Museum and Information Centre will be under new management. I have resigned and taken up another job in Bamaga.
Contact details for the Centre are-
Mid May to end of October - (07) 4049 3777
November to mid May - (07) 4069 121 (NPA Regional Council)

Nah, not a professional fisher. I like my fishing without having to take people out every day. The occasional one is allright. People think its great when you are a guide but in reality you dont get to fish. If you do happen to hook up on something you hand it over to the punter.
I am taking over the family business, Cape York Traders and running that while the relies go on holidays. Pretty long holiday as it will be for 2 or more years.

Boy you guys do it hard.
Its "last day today,be back in May , and the rellos ae going on holidays for a few years.
Whatever happened to I be closed until Monday and on holidays for a month.Talk about laid back Cape Yorkers.

The "redundancies" are still rampant in the engineering sector in Brisbane.
I'll lose another couple of guys this week.
Like Campdog, my weekly hours have been reduced by 25%.
You need an off-sider up there?

You wouldn't happen to know of a Tradesman Locksmith looking for work would you? Even a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice would be good, must a have brain on their shoulders!!!! I need some x 2 ASAP
