Talk about power. Gunned the motor in the Patrol and pulled the trailer in half.

What did the trailer fail Campdog? Was it rusting from the inside out or something?

A combination of too many cape trips and metal fatigue on the drawbar. And of course too much power with the patrol. Its been back to the cape again and home safely. Its in this years Cape Yorker magazine.

I thought i recognised a few of the pics in the mag. I dont think you ever have to worry about getting too much power from the Nissan Campdog. It was most likely too much weight in the trailer due to it filling up with water at Nolans.

No i busted the trailer in 2004 on coming of the beach at Janie creek. 2006 was the year I lowered the water level of Nolans.Cant have all the fun in one trip

Goes to show how inconsiderate Nissan drivers are while up on the Cape. Couldnt even let the poor bugger cross over before you attempted Nolans. Its drivers like this Campdog that give you a bad name.
