Horn Island to Thursday Island Raft Race

The Horn Island Thursday Island Raft Race weekend if from November 7 - 9 at the Thursday Island Bowls Club.

FRIDAY

-Registering of rafts and crew. Deadline for registering is by 9pm sharp. Live bands will be playing til 11.30pm


SATURDAY

-Raft race calcutta. Win a raft or buy the winning raft. 6pm til late.


SUNDAY

-The big day.
9am - Scrutineering at Horn Island
10am - Race start
11pm - Lice music all day.

There will be food, drinks and entertainment and a kids jumping castle.



Anyone visiting the area should make a point of going to see this as it only happens once a year and is great to see.

Pity I didn't know about this earlier as we will be up that way but won't have time to fit it in. That would have been great to include in the trip.
