Id just like to say that this forum/site has stepped up a level or two since the boys n girls who live on the cape have come aboard.Having first hand information on what is happening on the Cape has made it so much more enjoyable. Its good to see the fish you are catching and the places you go and generally life on the Cape.I know my trips last only a few weeks but the memories last a lifetime.
Thanks guys.
John

John,
Great comment. This site has really developed into a Cape Community. I guess we all share the passion for the area and everything it has to offer. The regular updates and images are fantastic.

I agree too, but what do you mean "Sometimes" Scorcher. It's an enduring ache.

Thanks for the comment Campdog,

A bonus for our southern friends is you now have contacts and probable extra bonuses (compared to the average tourist) for when you next visit up this way.

I even thought about a house swap down the track some day as an example. You southerners get to fly in and visit for a week or 2 and live the holiday lifestyle you all looooong for and we get to fly out and live in civilisation for a week or 2.

Just a thought for when we all meet and get to know each other.

That's a great idea Stacky. Darn it , now I really will have to get my house in order just in case.
Cheers,
xina.

A week or two, what about a month or three. I wouldnt mind a job at Bramwell or Morton for the silly season.

That would be a great idea Campdog. The only thing is though, you would have to deal with all the idiots.

How many would there be during the Wet Geoff?

That wouldnt worry me too much, spending a season on the Cape would compensate for that.I have noticed a job going at Endevour Falls for a onsite couple to help out during the tourist season. Could easily tale six months leave without pay and take on a job for the dry season.

During the wet there is hardly any people up here. Only the locals. I have only found that i get the crazies in the centre late September and October, the rest of the year they seem to be nice people.

The tag-along will be up there Sept/Oct :D
Hope we can maintain the standard in the centre for you :D

Funny thing, the crazy noise in my head doesn't seem funny when I type it.
Ah damn, now the voices are starting.
