I just came back from Cairns/Cooktown last night - road is still excellent. Average 100km/h almost the whole trip.

I've got a few pics here of the Archer. Plenty of water for camping.

Don't forget you get to meet some cape icons like brad and hugh from the roadhouse a couple of top blokes. Just ask brad how he had to tow my poor hino back from 20kms up the road because I blew a welsh plug we spent about 2 hours trying to fix it then eventually put a cork in it and cracked the radiator cap and kept going.

I suppose it helps if you know how to fix thing in the bush. The only thing i am reallying on is RACQ. as i have no idea on mechanics

Got it right again Dipmaker, it's only Yota drivers that need to do a full mechanics course.
How many pages do you have of spare parts you'll be taking?

Thats why i drive a nissan because i don't now anything about mechanics as i don't really need to. On the other hand you must be a proffesor in mechanical engineering.

I am glad that you understand why i drive a nissan
(i think you just burnt yourself)

HMMMMMMMMM- Might be about time that we put a block on the words "nissan' and 'patrol'. Seems a lot of that 'gutter talk' is starting to clog the clear channels of the forum.

Where is Batsey?? I wonder if he would mind me playing and tweaking the settings a little????????

Is that why you agreed to help me with cupboards for the back of the ute on the weekend Nedly, so I could fit all the parts needed to keep your Nissan on the road?

p.s Careful Nedly, I still have a photo of somebody in a red super hero outfit I can easily post on the site.

Yoyo, Campdog,
Believe me, the photo is something NO ONE wants to see.

Understand Dipmaker, no one wants to see it

Hi Batesy,
What happened to John and Cheryl from the Archer?
Also how long have you had an RACQ service up there? Things have certainly changed.
