Main roads have closed the road through 'Tozers Gap'.
I don't know if this is a early or late wet, but we are getting a little rain. It's enough to make the road very greasy.
I think it's closed to stop heavy vehicles coming through, that prevents Main Roads having to recover them.
If you still come through and something goes wrong your insurance will not cover you.
Travellers are still getting through with a lot of slipping and sliding, but most don't stay long because of the continous 30+ knot S'easterlies and showers.
I recommend calling Main Roads for further advice.
