Yes the Lockfest,
Because there is no longer the Crocfest, Lockhart River has created it's own Lockfest.
There will be displays, games, food and all the other usual festival stuff like Cultural Dancing and competitions etc.
If your passing through Cape york around the 29th of August make sure you plan your trip so you end up at Lockhart River on this date. It starts at 2pm (local time).
You can camp at Iron Range or Chili Beach or even apply for permission through Council and camp on Quintel beach.
This is it's first ever event so who knows, maybe it will become the new Crocfest.
