Hey all. Not sure if this too far out.

Just on the off chance, I am chasing after a bit of help for the King Ash area.

Heading there on 5 September for a couple of weeks and I am a virgin to the area. I am hoping that some of you fine gentlemen and women would be able to give me some heads-up on an area to start when heading out the front. E.g. reef, gutter etc marks.

I understand that they may be kept close to your chest but just a start on a closer reef etc would be fantastic.

Cheers in advance.

I presume that you are talking about the place in from Borooloola, on the McArthur river.
Best bet would be go to the pub there and get a cheap meal. - They are all cheap (10-15 bucks) and chat to the locals who live there for 6 months of the year.
The mouth of the river is about 30-40Km from the ramp from what I can remember, and there are islands out the front with all reef species and pelagics.
Or you can buy this book (http://www.fishfinderbooks.com) which has aerial photos and GPS spots marked ready to go.
