After the last few attempts on spamming our site, and the fact that I am not always online, Scorcher has suggested that we nominate a few more regular members to be 'knighted' as Cape Yorker Moderators. Scorcher is our first.
What this would involve is, once you are a 'Moderator', when you log in to the forum, you will have the ability to edit (or delete) posts. In this way, if you see something that is not right (abusive, spam, etc) you can get rid of it.
I will still need to know the name of the person who posted it so that I can either ban or delete them from the forum - depending on what they have posted. So you will need to let me know either by PM or email.
Ideally, I think a group of five to six moderators would be fine. If you think someone (or yourself) would take this on board then please let me know through this post and I will get it happening.
Campdog: If you are nominated, I will need to get it in writing that you will not delete all posts with the words 'Toyota' in them!!
