Hey Ant,
Just wondering how things are progressing with this years Cape Yorker magazine?
Just finished reading my recently purchased 2005 & 2007 edition, and ready for the next installment.
Any idea of the release date as yet??
Hi Scorcher,
Welcome by the way. I believe the 2008 Mag. is due out next month (April). Early or late I don't know, but that's why Ant is a bit busy at the moment.
Cheers,
xina.

Thanks for the welcome Xina.
Yeah, I knew that it was planned for April, but I'm an impatient sort of guy !! Every thread I read, I see Ant talking about adding more stories to the mag. At some stage he'll have to draw the line.
As long as it arrives before I head off up to The Cape in 12 weeks time, I'll be a happy camper :)

Im looking forward to it as well. As im not heading that way this year I might as well read about it. Saving up the annual leave, Ive got 25 days so far.
Hi Guys and Gals,
Forgive me for the lack of replies of late. As xina has said, I am under a lot of pressure at the moment with publication deadlines for both this magazine (Cape Yorker) and the others that I do. 24 hours in one day is simply not enough!!!!!
The 2008 edition Cape Yorker will be finalised/out in late April this year. If you have a subscription you will be one of the first to see it. For those who do not, they will be distributed Nationally to all major newsagencies. If your local newsagent does not have them in stock, then either order one on-line or get them to order them into the shop.
Hope all this makes sense, now it is back to editing, building ads, and laying it all out.........................
I tell you what, I am looking forward to a trip back up into the cape once these come out as I need my fix.

Thanks for the update Ant.
Are you planning a trip to The Cape this year? If so, when??
I may be looking for somebody to jump out of my boat to catch me a couple of Painted Crays :)

Stop stuffing about, Ant.
Enough of the lounging back and sipping scotch on the rocks near the swimming pool, while overlooking the entire Cairns coastline ... hurry up already.
By the way ... do I have to pay for my copy of the mag ... or do I get a freebe?
Probably charge me double, I bet!
Batesy,
I see you are bored and must be tired of surfing the net and drinking tea and coffee with the playgroup mums.
I will personally deliver your copy of the mag.

I'll probably be laid up in some retirement home in Cairns by the time it comes out ... if that makes delivery any easier?!

Someone beat me to the 100 acre property I was after.
Plus I figured 45minutes away from Port would just result in you driving up to the property and trying to drown your Nissan in the 1 foot deep creek!!
