Whilst this is not a book about the cape, it is a good read none the less.
Kaye Cottee was the first woman to sail around the world solo and un-assisted. She wrote a book called First Lady and its one of those books you cant put down. I read it years ago and still remembers the images in my mind of what she went through.
Take it from me, a great book.
