Hi MT
I got 3 dvd's for chistmas
1 = Fulfil the Dream , By Bob and Grant Spees. Pretty ordinary fishing dvd diddnt explain what they using just what they caught. Just like a home movie.
2 = Fishing & Fourwheeling Cape York .By Lifestyle video Productions.Same deal just like a home movie very disapointing.
3 = Cape York The Great Adventure. Also by Lifestyle. This one is much better .It is about a trip lead by Peter Ikin who has worked on the Cape for 30 years.Heaps of info about places to see and what to expect on the Cape.Hope this helps you. I am going tothe Cape for the first time in August with my 4wd club.

G'day Emujim,
Which club are you a member of?
I used to live down Sydney way and was a member of the Blue Mountains Club.

I went out and got this dvd and I have watched it no less than 3 times so far. It was exactly what I was wanting to see. Thanks for telling me about it. I appreciate it.

Theres nothing like planning a trip to Cape York and making your own DVD. We used 10 1hr tapes and took 2300 photos on our first trip and more on the 2nd and 3rd.

Great mob of people in the Blue Mountains 4WD Club, you'll have to send me a PM and let me know who is in the group heading North.
I've only been out of the club since moving to Brissy 3 years ago, I might know some of them travelling up.

Catching up for a beer or 5 sounds like a great plan, I'll let you know where we'll be on the 18th., hopefully we can work something out.
