Seisia has a great campground right on the coast. Well worth propping yourself up there for a while.
Have to fish from the famous Seisia Jetty- all sorts of fish (inclding sailfish) have been caught from there.

When you are up there, make sure you drop in to Cape York Ice and Tackle and say G'day to Rob and Cheryl.

C'mon Ant, all the campgrounds at Seisia are on the coast.

Seisia Holiday Park is in town and is nearest the famous jetty.
Loyalty Beach CG is a few km's North of town and looks quite nice.
Punsand Bay is nearest the tip, though a long way from town.

Depending on how long our camp takes to set up and pull down, I would love to camp in all places on the top. Sounds too nice just to pick one :D

Just a couple of my favorite spots. The nothern side of the Jardine near the Linesmans Hut. Mutte Heads, Jardine River entrance and of course Virilya Point.

Had a look at the Linesmans Hut last year, nice.
Plan on spending a couple of nights at Mutte Heads and Virilya Point this year.

A question for those in the know.

We have decided to camp at either Loyalty Beach, or Punsand Bay, which would be the better option?

I know this is tough for the locals being loyal to each other, but an honest opinion would be good.

cheers,

Geoff.

Please disregard, I just found a post with good comments regarding the above.
