Okay guys, apologies for my lack of input into the board during the last few months. I'd make excuses about being too busy but we all know that I'd be lying!!
Ant and I are currently in the beginning stages of putting the 2008 edition together. Let me say that this is going to be a bloody marathon 6 months coming up!
After meeting a few of you good folk and reading about your trips here and on the 4wdmonthly forum I'd like to put together a feature in the next mag about everyone's trips to the Cape - "The Croc Crew's Cape Adventure".
I'd be keen to print some of your better photos and of course will be willing to pay absolutely nothing for the privilege! :)
Who's up for it? The more the merrier.

Cheers Riley.
I'll try and make it easy for everyone involved when it comes to asking a few questions about their trips. I'd like it to be a really laid back feature ... and lets face it, you can't get any more laid back than all your buggers on here!

It may be easier for you Batesy if we send all our piccies on disc to you and you can scan them at your leisure and pick out suitable ones, we could then give info on the ones selected, it shouldn't take you long to go through them, I only have three thousand and I suppose most other people who have done the Cape would have similar numbers.

3000!!
Oh, well, it's all part of the job ... if I gotta go through thousands of pix to get a good spread then so be it. I'm gonna need some awesome trip shots to try and counter the ugly ones with you blokes in them!
Hey Batsey,
Isn't that the job of the Editor?? Tell him to get off his backside and do some real work for you instead of sitting on the blower chasing advertising.

Yeah, I'm in.
It would be good to see a photo that you've shot published.
Now, most importantly, what's your timeframe for the photo's, do you need them in the next week or what?
I'll send you a disc, as promised, when I edit the bad from the not so bad.
Shouldn't take long, maybe a couple of weeks to sort through the 2800 that we took.
Gotta luv digital camera's.

This isn't a friggin' fishing trip, Ant. Isn't it about time you CAUGHT some bloody advertising instead of spending every day CHASING it?!
