Not that I know much about jeeps but I reackon it would be a long drive from Rye to Weipa in a 1940 model jeep.

Had a jeep cherokee sport for most of the 90's. It did the Simpson, Birdsville 3 times, Strezlecki 3 times, Oodndatta Track 2 times, Plenty, Fraser, Flinders 2 times plus lots of poking round Tamworth hill busting bunnies. The thing never missed a beat.

Gotta Prado now. Much more comfy to drive.

Gee I reckon it would be hard to as if I am mistaking they where made from about 1942.
It would be uncomfortable indeed lol, very basic pram suspension and all at least it wouldn't brake a spring in a hurry.:cool:
