What's the road like from Weipa to Bamaga like

Anyone know what the road condition is like from Weipa through Batavia to Bamaga is like at the moment?

My brother in law did it a month ago and said it was good all the way back to Bamaga.

hi mav, did it last week, the road from wiepa to batavia is great 2 wheel drive all the way, otl perfect no problem with any crossing, a little fun. bypass roads about 40kms north of captain billy landing turnoff VERY corrugated apart from that roads are wellgraded, battle camp road from little/ old laura out of the lakefield nat park is S--T suggest anyone to bypass it, worse corrugated road in the cape, ( in my oppinion )
