Just one week to go before Nedly, Stumpy and Dipmaker with their spouses begin the quest of travelling to Cape york from Brisvegas. We are immensley looking forward to it and hope we gain as much pleasure from it as some of the other forum users who have done it before us.

Thankyou very much for that offer Ant but I HOPE we are fully prepared. Don't worry about the shaving, you will make Nedly feel at home. Looking forward to having a beer with you.
Cheers, Steve.

Yep... we've had 31 degrees for a couple of days. Welcome to winter in Cape York. At least there is still a breeze around.

Geez, nice offer Campdog ... but I'll have to pass on the flu bit. There's too much of that up here at the moment.
Feel free to send up some cooler weather though - I'm not looking forward to an early summer.

Were heading back early next year, we were there in april/may and it was getting warm in the middle of the day but the nights were lovely. I even climbed under a sheet a few times. I think the days got up to about 30-31.
Were going to camp at no name creek up near the light ship.
Im glad popeye is still ok at the croc tent.
