Well after reading all your plans to get onto the PDR our turn has at last come around. How jealouse I have been reading all about the trips people have made. All being well my wife (Grandma) and myself will be at the end of the PDR this time tomorrow.
How I have been looking forward to the joys at the end of the road - Oh to dream of McDonalds, Big W, and of course K-Mart. When we get back into Weipa in around two weeks we will be heading north to see family in Bamaga. Great adventures start at Weipa and end in Cairns. The main item on the shopping list will be Port, something the State Government will not allow us to purchase in Weipa.
