Not being nasty but I was told the LOCALS community thought they could run the place. Its no w a derelict site. A shame as in a pristine location.

It is a shame it did look like a nice place back in 98.

I dont know if what I was told but it was still a good business gone begging. Id love to have a crack at a business on the Cape, maybe the croc tent would be OK.

I think the Injinoo Council put a call out for tenders on running the joint. I did hear that someone was going to go in and reopen it, but I think it all fell over.
Be interesting to see what eventuates. Could be a gold mine, though you'd struggle to keep staff and you'd only get a few months tourist season cash flow.

yes Pajinka is a shame, but i wish visitors would take there rubbish with them and not add to the problem. The whole place gets like a toilet which is also a shame visitors seem to think its ok to crap every where without at least burying it.
There are people behind the scenes trying to get things done but at this stage it would seem it is in the too hard basket in Brisbane. The board walk for example is a liabilty issue waiting to happen.

I was a bit dissapointed the first time I pulled up to walk to the tip.although it was the tourists that decid to leave all there accumulated rubbish there. when a bin gets full its just packed around it.

Not sure, but I think the Bamaga council clean up after the tourists,The rest of the place looks good.People just dont think of the problems they cause throwing rubbish out.
