We left Lions Den one morning, stopped at Cooktown and onto Colored Sands and camped the night at Isabella Falls. A great spot for a night. My daughters caught chearabin using a torch and shrimp net. A lot of people dont realise the falls are there, they just plough throughthe crossing and keep on going.

Campdog, nice shots.
We will definately have to go back after this trip, to much to see and do in 1 trip.
Will probably be saying the same thing after the 10th. trip.

I think you need to live there and get out every weekend and look around.
I planning again for next year and cant wait.

The O/T is a bit scarce here so I know I wouldnt have been to the Cape this year if it was a full on touring job.The fact that 3 of us went in one vehicle made it cheap enough to convince the mrs it was a good idea.
Its Just to expensive in preparation let alone the trip itself to go every year.
If we get the Pacific Highway upgrade work then a full on trip will be the go in 2009.
