Great shots Campdog, makes me want to go NOW.
Actually, you take a pretty good photo, certainly makes my efforts look very poor.
Better pick my act up if I hope to post any on my return from the Peninsula.

Better pick my act up if I hope to post any on my return from the Peninsula.
I like looking at then as its about as close I will get again this year. Nothing special about taking photos, just take a lot of them.I get up early and wait for the sun to come up.Camera is nothing special both kodaks but set the camera at highest resolution.

I didnt mind Giru. I would loved to have had a week or so there with a boat.A unique bunch of semi permanents there who were very friendly. I suppose just typical Queenslanders.
My mrs didnt like the place and thought it was a bit rough.

Your wife might be on to something there because one of my sisters (not the one married to Tully) has a block of land on the banks of the Haughton River and she's a bit rough

I think she was referring to the camping conditions, not the locals.But then again you wouldnt know.
Great selection of shots. Only problem is that some of them seem to be out of focus and have some piece of metal blocking the otherwise top shot. Ah, wait a moment, let me look closer. ...........Ah, sorry my mistake, it is a Nissan!

Out of focus,metal blocking the shot, what! You got me. I like landscape photos, especially the Cape.

Didnt take a lot of temorary fixing,did the welding job using 12volt batteries and got some angle from weipa.If your ever at 4wd monthly website there is a forum site .have a look at "Cape york be prepared "under Trips and touring.
