Obviously you wouldn't be able to take him into National Parks and there is some great ones to visit on the Cape also you would need to be careful around water, I know a bloke that has lost a pig dog or 2 up there.

Mmm thats a hard 1 Cookie. I have a mate coming along with us that would love to take his dog, as it goes everywhere with him and sleeps in the swag with him when we go camping but he is going to leave her at his parents this trip.

Cost me nearly 600bucks for boarding kennels to leave my dogs at home last year, but couldnt take them because of where we wanted to go plus the dangers involved.

I've heard a few stories about crocs and dogs ... for some reason they seem to attrack them.

Cookie, you're stuffed with the National Park stuff. The main one up here you'll probably want to stop at would be the three falls on the OTL. Possibly Iron Range if you venture over to Lockhart area. And of course - Lakefield. Not sure if Gunshot is on Heathlands NP.

Anyway... point is, it can be a pain. I know it's something I was cured of years ago.
