When thinking of a user name for a forum a few years ago I asked myself what I like. I came up with camping. laying around the camp in front of the fire, going in the 4wd and not worrying sbout anything. I looked at my 2 jack russels with me at the time and thought im just like them so the name campdog,
On the weekend one of them died so now im at a loss. I thought I would post a photo of my mate.Maybe I am softy after all.He went on every camping trip except the cape. Im sure he would have loved dragging crocs out of the river by the tail
Heres to you bronson.

Thanks mate, they were little buggers at home but as soon as they saw me packing the patrol or trailer they went mad until they got in the patrol, and loved every minute of camping and the bush and didnt stop until we got home again. The other dog is missing his mate so i will have to get him in the bush again. we cetainly had something in common.

I took our old dog to the vet last year to get put down cos the poor old bugger went in the back legs and I didn't want the old girl to suffer.
I cried like a baby and still do if I think on it too long. How bad do you let them get ?????

It's never good when you loose a loyal companion, We had to get my Shepard X Doberman put down last month 14 years old she had a good life weighed 52kg when the vet weighed her before the shot so yeah she was a big dog, then last year my parents had to get 2 of their's put down as well 16 yr old Curly Retriever, 9yr old Aust Terrier she had a brain tumor and was fitting or something so she got the needle as she was in a fair bit of pain. All were inside dogs they thought they were people they had the easy life.
