Allright I noticed a few people brew there own beer on this forum how about we get started on the brew you have tried how you found them. Then maybe some people can come up with some brewing tips ie hops or no hops.
I have tried
CANADIAN LIGHT - Top beer loved the taste didn't get a chance to mature we drank it that quick

HOME BRAND DRAUGHT - average taste but still very good

HOME BRAND LAGER - not realy much different

QUEENSLANDER GOLD - supposed to be like xxxx but haven't managed to pull a decent brew out of it yet tried twice

BLUE MOUNTAIN LAGER - Cant remeber it been bad

You'll pay between $50 & $55 for XXXX or VB.
A slab of Mixed spirits will set you back $100 in Bamaga.
We were at the tip for 8 days and spent $1100+ on Grog. It's just too hot not to drink.

Cookie if you stock up at cairns there isnt any restrictions on what you carry unless yo are going into aboriginal communities. Just make sure you are legal then.I have a gps and leave my drinks in the bush before going into a community and pick it up on the way out. Totally legal. As I dont want to get into trouble.

I suppose its one way to save putting more sugar in the brew.MAybe batesy should start brewing rum at home.

Actually sam its a lot easier than you think, just the same as putting down a beer brew, just the results from drinking it are a bit different.

we brew spirits chevy and it,s not to hard we make a very nice scotch ,rum is a bit harder but you can have a lot of fun making up the different brews but you gotta be a lot more carefull with the alcahol content as it can get pretty strong, you don,t get sick from it either honest ,.,i would never lie to royalty
