If your looking for a nice camp spot north of the Jardine and have a fish. Hear into where the tele line used to cross the jardine on the north side. Camp near the old linesman hut,the turn is about 10 ks nth of the ferry and turn right, a few ks in.
What no pic's Campdog, not like you mate.

Ha Ha, you know when you listen to the Radio and you get a mental picture of the Face behind the Voice. When I seen you sit in your Wagon you weren't the Guy Behind the words i thought you were, You looked alittle soft mate.
Your good on the Sun Set photos Campdog, there great pics as always.
How long did it take to dry the patrol out, a day or so I would guess.

Koza I dont take too kindly to your descripion as soft of gay,I dont know who you expected to see in the photo, I am a family man who enjoys the outdoors and travelling with my family and friends and sharing my photos experiences with others. Maybe you should stick to the thread description.
I don't mean to offend Campdog. I'am no different to you. wife and kids and enjoy camping with mates.

Campdog, looks like you picked an excellant spot to stop and dry out the contents of your truck.
How many camps do you reckon will fit in the area?
Did you catch any fish?
Hey Campdog,
We have a fuji 4 Mpixel s3500 finepixel camera. I am not good on the photos just point and shoot and set it on AUTO, in saying that nothing wrong with the pic quality. How do i go about taking a few sunset photos. Can I still leave it on AUTO or do i use other options like portraite or landscape . It's also got a ditachable Outer ring along the front of the lense(comes out about 20mm-25mm) I think to give shade to the lense. Does that stay on or screw it off.

At the time we were there we had 4 camps in that spot ant a couple more wewe up a bit. Fishing was good for July, found a little creek and sat at the entrance with the water running out, caugt a cupole of little barra and a good size saratoga. HAve been told there is a resident 15ft croc that resides just where I took sunset photos.Didnt see him thougk.

YOYO , if you havent gone yet, havent been near the net since friday, major crisis at home to sort out.
Im just point and shoot.with sunset photos the window of opportunity closes quick, one minute plain sunset next minite "wow".I take a lot of photos and delete the crook ones later.Weipa has a great sunset,Try different settings as you go.Ihave taken the outer thingo off my camera.I find I get a better photo if I rest the camera on something as well/.
Take photos at the highest settings as well.
Hope you have a great trip.
