Well I am only just starting to see a few terroist woops I mean tourist coming through so things are getting busy The road is good theres nowhere you can't go and were all waiting for a big season.

Is July/Aug the busiest months up that way Sam, is Sep just as Busy or starting to slow down.

Cookie, there is usually a large turnover of hospitality staff up here. The Albatross Hotel is one place to start, also try Jandals Catering, who run the bowls club restaurant. Also Heritage Resort could be one to try.

Sorry I don't have access to their numbers as I am away from home at the moment.

hey kingchevvy, the tourists are great, i live in a tourist area, i do in season 250 meals for lunch and 450 meals for tea,goes for about 4 months. www.waterwheeltavern.com have a look how close i live to the lake and ocean, but when the winter comes around we get the beach to ourselves, ALL the fishing we can do and dont work really hard, so when im up there dont judge me to harshly, have a beer and think about good times to come with a dollar in your pocket. will catch you soon. cookie.

Don't get me wrong I love tourist a lot of people don't in the area. but I appreciate every bit of business I get from terriost.

yeah i definately know what you mean, we live in a small town of 400 permanents, with 1 pub and 1 milk bar, the locale think they own it and hate the tourists, if it wasnt for them coming here and buying property there houses wouldnt be worth as much as they are, very short minded some people.we dont see the locals for 3 months of the year they hibernate. lol.

The locals don't hibernate, they head to Qld for the warmer weather.
They become the terrorists.
Bet they're disappointed at the moment :)
Not real warm up this way this week, well in Brsineyland anyway.
Though, admittedly, it's not snowing.
