archer river

hey guys,

on our way back we are probably going to spend a couple of nights at archer river, is there any good spots of interest to visit there?

just trying to break the drive up a bit and don't want to break camp every day.

There's not too much to see around the Archer itself. Great camping spots are found right alongside the crossing (all sand and nice clear flowing water), there's also a camp spot called Fox Hole nearby, just ask the guys at the roadhouse where to go.

If you want to have a look at something of interest, perhaps you can check out the bits and pieces around Batavia Goldfields - again the archer mob should be able to help with directions. Apart from that, could make a trip out along the Lockhart River road and have a look out that way.
